RAMAYAN is older than MAHABHARAT (both are histories of respective
eras). But VED are older than that, VED also has history in it which we
should try to put in order to make it clear.
Modern geologist and scientist accept that sea level had risen drastically around
15000 years ago resulting in Mega Flood, which is also described in Veds.
INDIA had civilization before this mega flood living in well developed
society.
The oldest king found in INDIAn history is BARHI (bur..rhee). His
eleventh decedent was king PRACHET. Son of Prachet was
Daksh. Being son of Prachet, he was called PRACHETAS DAKSH.
Aditi was Daksh's wife.
Aditi and Daksh had son VIVASWAN ( No record of Vivaswan's wife is
available). MANU was son of VIVASWAN. Earth was flooded (Jalpralay) at the time of
this MANU.
This means we have history of 14 generation before Flood. (This story of the
flood is almost in every culture of the world, but the details are found
only in INDIAn history)
MANU & FLOOD.
Around 15000 years ago, there were major seasonal changes which caused
catastrophic rains and floods all over the world. Only few people including king MANU and Saptarshi (Seven
Sages) were saved since they went to Himalaya. (Note Himalaya has the tallest mountain
ranges). Manu and these Saptarshis went to a mountain called "NauBandhan".
Till date this peak is called NauBhandhan only. (
Nau mean Boat in Sanskrit and NauBandhan could be a place where boat is
anchored.)
It is said the a Whale helped Manu to escape from flood. This could be
imagination of historians of that era, which surely does not mean every
thing written is imagination.
In most of world's religious texts, the story of Mega Flood is found but
never the history. It means as Hindu culture spread all over the world, the
story of flood was carried for generations with little aberrations in it.
Only Indians have the history of what happened next to flood.
Manu was first Human after the flood (being king, he might have been called
'First', like US president to day is called first citizen of US). Since he was first, all following him started calling them selves
"Manushya" or "Manav" (These very words are still used in many
INDIAn Languages including National language HINDI and other state
languages and word MAN in English is also a form of same word group).
At the time of this flood Manu sailed in a boat with his family, the boat
having enough cattle (livestock) and grainstock along with Saptarshis. (
i.e. seven sages)
Today's geologist agree that flood occurred around 15000 years ago, same time of Manu.
Being son of Vivaswan, Manu was called Vaivaswat Manu. The
time era started at the time of Manu is called Manwantar.
Ramayan and Mahabharat
also are mistaken as Mythology of
Hindu Civilization (Ancient INDIA) whereas both these epics (?) are
written as History of respective eras. Ramayan was written by Maharshi Valmiki around 7500 BC . Ramayan is
written in Sanskrit. The Hindu civilizations of this era were aware of
astronomical phenomena, the entire knowledge is written in Vedas.
The oldest known manuscript in the world is RIGVED. Some planetary
positions described in RIGVED dates back to 20000 B.C. This can be
calculated ....Mahabharat is written by Maharshi Vyas in 5500 BC
where he clearly states Mahabharat
as history....Maharshi
Vyas has given astronomical references and planetary positions
in Mahabharat.. the
calculations show these positions occurred 5500 years BC. Long before
Roman and Egyptians. The civilizations were very advanced in technology.
The descriptions of war in MAHABHARAT reveals knowledge of atomic
weapons, acoustic weapons etc. ( Bramhastra, Vajrastra ). The
Dronacharya was a test tube baby ( Dron is word used for container ).
