Claps
I walked a journey of thousand miles...
world clapped for me,
beautiful faces clad with smiles,
I couldn't say a word….
how could I say,
I was so tired…
I wanted you around, while I was walking,
Wanted a pat on back …some tender talking…
No one was there on a deserted way..
..road was long and home was away
I felt alone…amongst stones and thorns ..
A blessing in disguise, as it was..
Am I a looser ?
I always thought….
..and kept on walking in search of shine,…
to catch the goal that was mine ...
The claps sounded good..
made me taller, as I stood …
But, I don't want you to clap for me..
I walked for myself , not for thee…
..Oh people! Don't shower this love on me..
Give it to one who needs more than me..
Clap for the one taking the first step...
So on his way, he won't break..
Talk to the one who's lost his heart…
Pat the one weeping in dark..
So no one says this to you again….
"I walked alone with a lonely pain"..

Lesson
It's a lesson! A tale of my teen,
‘Life is beautiful more than a dream',
Each moment I thought of him,
Without his thought, there wasn’t a dream,
secret love he was, a treasure of mine.
this dream too had an end,
I was the one to see it break,
Innocent faith was to shake,
Cried whole day I wept through night,
stars weren’t out then, moon not in sight
I cried, for my heart was broken,
deeply hurt, my faith too shaken
Hurt and burnt I knelt,
I shouldn’t be alive, I felt
A hand patted my back, I slept with my eyes wet,
Never,
never again, I wanted to awake
A fresh day then began, sun shone bright
A knock on door woke me,
forgotten about last night.
My mom was there to see me cheer,
hid in her eyes, I saw her only tear..
I never thought of her, everyday fought with her
She was there hiding her tear,
she was there to see me cheer,
She was a Good Mother, and me ? Only bad daughter.
She brought me to life, gave me a heart,
Oh My heart !, broken it was, but beating,
I cried for it, wanted to end my life, still it was beating,
it kept on beating to keep me alive,
to let me cry but wanted me to live,
heart that taught me a lesson, heart that changed me then,
care for those who care for you,
like some heart, that beats only for you.
I share my love to those who love me,
like I love my heart that beats for me.
my heart had me taught, a hard lesson it was,
So
nay I hurt any one, nay I speak harsh,
nay I fight, nay people I scoff at,
coz who knows,
some heart may not beat, once broken,
some faith won't reborn, once shaken
A lesson it is , a tale of my teen,
Remember "life is beautiful, more than a dream".

A Simple Star
Oh star ! You have to shine ,
Pleasure of watching sky will be mine,
I wish you rise so high...
See no limits
but the sky,
Win many skies...
watching you will be my eyes,
My eyes twinkle when they see you,
I want star to be none but you,
Stars are always far far away,
You are a star, just a sky away,

Welcome message
We welcome you,
. . .. . . from the bottom of our hearts,
forget about the orientation part. . .
now let's come together . . .
surely we will make something better..
evening is covering the sun. . .
time is to come out and have fun,
but. . .
it's also time to break the ice..
we expect our juniors to be nice. . .
A welcome message for college juniors

Walls make house,

makes it a home,
The home you would be in,
will surely be heaven

Friends like you, are very few
I always love them ..more than wealth and fame
When friends trust each other.. friendship survives further..
Should we forget this truth...
All remains is just a myth
